Okay folks,

It is nearly that time again. Time to suffer and wonder why you do it!

As always, the time trial will be held every Thursday night at 6:30 sharp. The first date will be May 14th and we will go till roughly mid September. After that, we run short on daylight. If anyone wants to go on may 7th, let me know.

For those new to this list, the meeting (and starting) point is the Leroy Twp fire station on Leroy Center Rd (Map). For most of you that means I-90 to Vrooman Rd, south on Vrooman to the first intersection where you have to stop, look left about 1/4 mile and there we are.

Most of you know but, again for those who are new, the course is out and back. Just a little under 8 miles and takes most people about 19 minutes or so. This is for training only, no prizes but no cost either.

As the ruler of this kingdom, I get to decide how the start goes but, assuming even ability, I will use the stick method of starting.

Actually, I had several requests last year to make the whole year "Merckx" style. I really don't want to do that since guys like to try out new "toys", methods, and such. However, if you want to use a tt bike, you will be near the front of the starting order. After all, I really would prefer that people not get caught since this is for training.

Again, all are welcome and I will be there regardless of weather. On the few nights that I have other commitments, usually Mark Bir will take my place.
